Our Fishing Lakes

Our fishery offers a haven for anglers seeking diverse species and challenging fishing conditions. Immerse yourself in the thrill of angling amidst the picturesque landscapes of North Lincolnshire.

Main Lake:

The Main Lake, with its circular design and central island, features 26 pegs awaiting eager anglers. It is primarily stocked with Carp and F1s, along with Roach, Tench, and Crucians. Two specially designed pegs (23 and 24) provide convenient access for disabled anglers directly from the main car park. With an average depth of 5 to 6 feet, this lake is an ideal venue for club matches. Anglers often find success fishing the pole in the central channel or nearside margins, while a legered bait near the island can yield fruitful results. Popular baits include pellets, corn, worms, and maggots. Remember to engage in a little-and-often loose-feed technique for optimal results.

Snake Lake:

For a unique canal-style fishery experience, Snake Lake is the perfect choice. Measuring approximately 11 meters wide, this lake offers excellent pole fishing opportunities. It is well-stocked with a variety of species, including Roach, Chub, Tench, Ide, Bream, and Barbel. Disabled anglers will find specially adapted pegs (1 and 2) with convenient parking adjacent to each peg. Snake Lake proves to be an all-year-round venue, with Chub and Ide exhibiting particularly active feeding behaviour during cold weather conditions.

Opening Times:

Our Fishery operates under the following schedule:

Summer: (April – October): 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
Winter: 8:00 am to dusk

General Rules:

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please abide by the following rules:

• We have a strict 5mph speed limit across the park
• Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
• Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
• Keepnets are not permitted for pleasure fishing.
• All nets must be dipped on-site before commencing fishing.
• Avoid using rags to handle fish.
• Please take all litter and excess bait home.
